Now if you can’t afford the luxury of a spa, don’t be like the botox bandits and go in, get all your procedures, and then write a bad check. At the very least, that’s extremely dishonest. But anyway, you can replicate some of the effects at home. It’s not exactly the same, but you can still get luxury, reduce blotchy skin tones, blackheads, and otherwise smooth out your skin in general. One of the things that many have found to be really effective is raw honey.
It has been used by men and women alike to actually soak up bacteria and cleanse pores while moisturizing your face without excess oils. It may seem a bit sticky at first. But honestly, it washes off quite easily. Make sure your honey is chemical or additive free, after all, honey never actually goes rotten, it’s the only food that doesn’t. So you don’t need them. Get raw honey to be sure. Then I would suggest warming it up a little bit and mixing it with one egg white. This will help you to spread it more easily, and the right temperature will give you a soothing warm feeling across your face. All in all, it’s pretty impressive.

You have to exfoliate your skin. It doesn’t matter how you think about it, it’s life, it’s one of those beautiful things about life. If you don’t exfoliate, your skin will build up with dead skin cells, which block in bacteria and oils, and that is one of the major causes of acne in general. Some use washes, which is fine. But realistically, they really have a harder time getting ingredients into pores if your pores are not open and available because they are blocked by dead skin cells.
There are definitely some scrubs that are harsher than others. Personally, I prefer the ones that are a bit harder with the certain beads, because they really exfoliate away dead skin cells more effectively from my experience. But some have softer skin than I do, more sensitive I mean, and some don’t build up dead skin cells as quickly as I do. So the exfoliator really depends on your personal needs. As for me, I choose a little bit harder ones. But any way you look at it, you have to choose an exfoliator somewhere. Otherwise, you are not getting the full effect, and in truth, you might be missing some of your acne and therefore creating other issues.

Now dandelion root, I wouldn’t suggest if you’re allergic to it. Specifically, if you suffer from hay fever, there’s actually a high likelihood that you are allergic to dandelions. The severity of course varies and you could be one who’s not. But I would recommend caution. Anyway, if you can use them, dandelions are often used in body cleansers. They cleanse the systems a bit and they are rich in vitamins, minerals, and fiber in general.
It is a weed yes, but it has tons of iron and beta carotene, more than carrots or spinach in fact, and it is actually a great source of vitamin C surprisingly enough. Who knew a little weed could do all this. Anyway, it has been used to treat many things, and it has been used since the 10th century in Arabia, when they used it to treat liver disorders and menstrual problems. Think about it, a toxic liver could be technically cleansed with this in mind. And when you cleanse the body, you get rid of the bacteria inside your body as well as the bacteria in your pores, effectively getting rid of one of the major sources of acne. So it works and draws in.

Now when I’ve had acne, I’ve had some bad habits. I’ve actually developed some scars, but definitely not as many as I should’ve, and some of the ones I thought were scars at first, when I was 15 or 16 weren’t. I would see these little white spots and discolorations in general, sometimes just pink, and I would think oh no! Of course this never stopped me from doing stupid things like popping zits, peeling scabs, etc. But 99% of the time, if you see this, unless the scar is raised, dark, or something like that, you don’t have to worry. With the pink, obviously it’s just fresh skin that’s been hiding under the scab.
I still recommend letting the scab come off in its own good time. But it’s one of those do what I say not what I did. Now I know better. Anyway, to be honest, when you see spots like that, chances are you don’t have to go out and buy the next acne scar cream you see. When your skin is damaged it heals in such a way that it might be lighter for a while or whatnot. Now from what I’ve seen, these can take up to a year to heal back and blend in. But at the same point in time, it usually doesn’t take more than a couple months max. So just wait and see, if after a year you still have it, then you should look into some peptide creams or otherwise. But before that, it might just be the natural process.
